Africa's First Solar Bus

Uganda's Kiira Motors unveils Africa's first solar powered bus. Known as the "Kayoola," the bus uses two batteries that can be charged using solar panels fitted on the vehicle's roof. It produces no fumes, runs on clean energy, and makes less noise. The prototype was built by over 60 staff members and 12 engineers.
