"Avatar" Premieres

Avatar is a sci-fi film created by James Cameron. It stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Michelle Rodriguez, Sigourney Weaver, and more. Cameron first began working on the project in 1994 and took several years to get it made. The film was shot on a $237 million budget and profited $2.79 billion at the box office. It broke multiple records and became the highest-grossing film of all time until 2019. It was also nominated for nine Academy Awards.
