Black Hair Wins

"Hair Love" follows 7-year-old Zuri as she tries to wake up on a special day and do her hair, following a video made by her mom, a natural hair vlogger (voiced by Issa Rae). She can't seem to figure it out so she seeks out her dad for help. The seven minute animated visual won the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film at the Oscars 2020.
