Daughtry Releases Their Debut Album

Daughtry's self titled album would become fastest selling debut rock album in history. It sold 304,000 copies in its first week and debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200, only behind Jay-Z's Kingdom Come. Daughtry also became the first album from an American Idol alumnus to top the Billboard 200 since Ruben Studdard's Soulful in 2003.
