Denzel Washington Stars In Flight

Denzel Washington starred in the film, Flight. Loosely inspired by the plane crash of Alaska Airlines Flight 261, Washington plays a pilot that struggles with alcoholism. His character manages to crash land the plane after mechanical failures and saves everyone on board; but it doesn't reduce the issues he's faced to due to his alcoholism, such as maintaining a relationship with his son. The film amassed two Academy Award nominations.
