
Derrick Rose Becomes Youngest MVP
Chicago guard Derrick Rose becomes the youngest player to be named MVP at just 22 years old. After posting averages of 25 points, 7.7 assists and 4.1 rebounds to lead the Bulls to the top seed in the Eastern Conference, he earned 113 out of a possible 120 first-place votes to claim the trophy. Rose was also the second Bulls player to ever win, joining Michael Jordan, who won five times.
