Disney Acquires Marvel

The $4.24 billion deal completely changes the entertainment industry. After the acquisition comes the division of Marvel TV and Marvel Studios, which both had a much bigger impact than anticipated. Disney made superhero franchises and connected universes what they are now, starting with the first film they distributed, The Avengers (2012).
