After Dr. Phil saw success with his segments on The Oprah Winfrey Show, he started his own talk show. He uses his experience as a clinic and forensic psychologist to offer life advice to guests. Dr. Phil ran for more than 20 seasons until both current and former employees of the show alleged that they experienced verbal abuse and a hostile work environment.
