Ether

The rap beef between Jay-Z and Nas stems back to the 90's. Nas' "Ether," the 2001 "classic" diss track, was in response to Jay's "Takeover." Jay then re-emerged with "Super Ugly," where he details a sexual relationship with the mother of Nas' child. As voters called in to New York's Hot 97 to decide the winner of the beef, Jay-Z also calls in to offer an apology for discussing the details of the relationship.
