Jasmine Perry joins Miami City Ballet

Jasmine Perry joined Miami City Ballet, bringing a dancer with a strong classical foundation and a steady rise through major repertory. Before MCB, she rose through the ranks at Los Angeles Ballet, where she joined the corps in 2014 and made history in 2019 when she was promoted to Soloist, becoming the first African American dancer to rise through the company’s ranks. She has also appeared as a guest artist with groups including Raiford Rogers Modern Ballet, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Black Iris Project, and Luminario Ballet.
