Johnny Depp Sues Amber Heard

After a six week-long trial, a jury finds both Jonny Depp and his ex-wife, Amber Heard, responsible for defamation in their lawsuits against one another. Depp originally sued Heard for alleging that she was a victim of domestic abuse, saying it cost him lucrative acting roles. Heard then countersued for defamation over statements that Depp's attorney made regarding the abuse claims. The verdict resulted in Depp being awarded $15 million in damages and Heard receiving $2 million.
