Juul Gets Banned
The FDA hits the e-cigarette company with a nationwide ban following months of investigating how harmful its products are. Juul is required to immediately cease all marketing and distribution of the vaping devices as well as several liquid pods that have nicotine levels ranging from 3-5%. The company was unable to provide sufficient data about the potential risks of using their products, which led to its application being denied.
