Massachusetts Legalizes Same-Sex Marriage

Massachusetts was the first U.S state to legalize same-sex marriage. Marcia Kadish and Tanya McCloskey were the first couple to marry at Cambridge City Hall. 77 other same-sex couples followed suit and tied the knot on the symbolic day.
