Spurs Win The NBA Finals

The San Antonio Spurs defeat the Detroit Pistons 81-74 in Game 7 of the NBA Finals. The Pistons had six different players who finished with double figures but still, it wasn't enough. Manu Ginobili and Tim Duncan led the Spurs to victory with 25 and 23 points, respectively. Duncan would also be named Finals MVP for the third time in his career.
