Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith broke several box office records during its opening week and went on to earn $868 million, making it the highest grossing film of the year. It is set three years after the onset of the Clone Wars where the Jedi are spread across the galaxy leading a war against the Separatists. Disney+ would later premiere a miniseries that takes place ten years after the outcome of the film titled Obi-Wan Kenobi in 2022.
