Tatami Galaxy

Tatami Galaxy might be some of director Masaaki Yuasa’s most quintessential work. The characters talk with speed, the style is lovingly surreal, and its content is immediately relatable. Receiving widespread acclaim, the show won the Japan Media Arts Festival Grand Prize in the Animation Division.
