The Big Dig Is Complete

The Big Dig was a mega construction project in Boston that rerouted the city's major freeway into a tunnel. Planning first began in 1982 and once the construction work started, it took 15 years to complete. It was the most expensive highway project in the US, costing more than $8 billion.
