Prior to the start of the 2005-2006 season, the Boston Celtics, Miami Heat, New Orleans Hornets, Utah Jazz, and Memphis Grizzles participated in a recording-breaking player trade. It resulted in 13 players being traded. In the long run, the trade eventually lead to the Miami Heat winning a championship.
