The Pistons Upset The Lakers

The Detroit Pistons defeat the LA Lakers 100-87 in Game 5 to complete one of the biggest upsets in NBA history. The Lakers had four future Hall of Famers and even that wasn't enough to stop the Pistons. The four-game sweep led to what most people believed was the end of the Shaq-Kobe era and the fall of the Lakers' dynasty. Chauncey Billups was the series MVP, averaging 21 points and 5 assists per game.
