The Seattle SuperSonics Become The OKC Thunder

After relocating to Oklahoma City from Seattle, Washington, the Seattle SuperSonics became the Oklahoma City Thunder. The name was chosen in reference to the powerful tornados that hit the area and after the US Army's 45th Infantry Division, The Thunderbirds.
