The Simple Life Premieres

Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie star in a reality TV series where they struggle to do manual, low-paying jobs. Their tasks ranged from cleaning rooms and farm work to serving meals and being camp counselors. The Simple Life ran for five seasons until Paris confirmed that she and Nicole were no longer friends. There was speculation that Paris' friend, Kimberly Stewart, would appear as the new co-star but that never happened and the show unexpectedly canceled its plans for any future seasons.
