'Tomb Of Sand' Wins Booker Prize

Geetanjali Shree's "Tomb of Sand" wins the International Booker Prize, becoming the first novel translated from Hindi to do so. The prize not only marks the award's first Hindi winner, but also the first time a book written in any Indian language has won. It tells the story of an 80-year-old woman who falls into a deep depression after her husband dies and has to find a way to somehow feel whole again.
