Abuse Survivors Sue The FBI

More than 90 women file lawsuits against the FBI for botching the sex abuse investigation into former USA Gymnastics doctor, Larry Nassar. Widespread errors by the agency allowed Nassar to continue to abuse at least 70 more victims before he was arrested. Two agents were singled out in particular for taking five weeks to conduct a phone interview with just one victim. In 2018, Nassar was sentenced to up to 175 years in prison for the abuse of the young women athletes entrusted to his care.
