California Changes Its Prostitution Laws

California Governor Gavin Newsom signs a new state law which ends arrests for loitering for prostitution. While the bill doesn't legalize prostitution, the hope is that sex workers won't be harassed by police. Additionally, anyone previously convicted or currently serving sentences will be able to ask for a dismissal and for their record to be sealed.
