Lichen Opens

Lichen is a furniture + interiors showroom and studio in Ridgewood, Queens, located at 564 Woodward Ave. Founded in 2017 by Ed Be and Jared Blake, Lichen started as a vintage-focused project and evolved into something broader: part curation, part community space, part design incubator where people actually come to learn, browse, and get help figuring out their space.  The vibe is pretty specific: you’ll find iconic vintage pieces alongside more contemporary objects, plus original Lichen projects and collaborations—less “furniture store,” more “you just walked into someone’s really good taste.”
