The Confederate Flag Is Taken Down From SC Capital

The Confederate Flag was removed from the South Carolina Capital ground. The removal happened after a bill requiring it to be removed was signed into place the day before. The Confederate Flag is a long time symbol of the Civil War, slavery and racism.
