The 30,000-year-old remains of a baby woolly mammoth are uncovered in northwestern Canada. Miners working on Eureka Creek came across the animal while digging through permafrost. Its hair, trunk, nails, and insides were all intact, making it the most complete and well-preserved mammoth ever discovered in North America.
