The Johnson & Johnson Vaccine Is Paused

The CDC and FDA recommends a pause in the use of the Janssen COVID-19 vaccine. Of the nearly 7 million doses administered, a small number of people experienced a rare and severe type of blood clot after receiving the vaccine. Johnson & Johnson's vaccine is the only one that uses a single dose, as opposed to Moderna and Pfizer, which both administer two doses.
